Here is how I normally do my makeup start to finish . I am using LA Colors for most of my makeup. If your like this makeup, I can create a custom basic makeup kit for you based on your skin, hair, and eye colors. Basic Makeup Kit

Here is a before and after picture of me. I will show step-by-step how I did each part to get to the final result.

Here is my Basic Makeup Kit. The materials I bought in it cost only about $30.

I start with my freshly shaven face. First I take the foundation and apply it to the entire face and neck, including eyelids. The color of the foundation should be nearly the same as your normal skin color. I use a wedge to apply it which workes nice. There are different kinds of foundation: powder, cream, and liquid, each with benefits and limits.

After the foundation, concealer is applied to specific troubled spots and blemishes. Undereyes I have some dark spots, under lips, beard coverage. Concealer is normally a bit lighter in color than the foundation but should be able to blend into it for an even look. So pick one sort of near your foundation color though a bit lighter.

Lipliner then is applied to the lips. The method I try shown is just barely drawn next the the outside of the real lip. Other methods could be used to change the size and appearance of the lips. I tried to pick a lipliner sort of near my lip and the lipstick color I picked. Picking too dark will result in a noticable lip outline.

Selecting which lipstick I want for this application, I pick the one on the right, the slightly darker one, I use the dab on method of applying. Other methods could be used to vary the resulting look of the lips. A tissue is used after applying the first coat of lipstick after rubbing lips together a few times.

A second coat of lipstick is dabbed on, followed by another lip rubbing together and side to side.

Eyeliner is then applied to the eyes. In this instance I pick to apply focusing to the outer edge of the eyes to try making the eyes look larger. There are several ways you can use your liner and shadows to affect the size, spacing, and shape of eyes.

Eyelash mascara is then applied to the eyelashes. Followed after with a second coat then you can curl them with eyelash curler to help open your eyes. I also put a little eyebrow color in just  to help define them a tad bit more.

Eyeshadow is then applied, in this instance, to the outer parts of the lid up to the brow. The brow has been brushed out and made sure the shape is sufficient. The colors I try here are a vary dark purple, salmon, and ivory. As mentioned before eyeshadows, eyeliner, and eyebrows can help shape the eye area to a more desireble shape and size.

Blush is then applied first to the apples of the cheeks. For different shaped faces, blush can be added in different places to help adjust the shape to make more ideal. I have a inverted triangular shape, and use it on the cheeks, jawline, under chin, and temples to help try adjusting the shape. Other shaped faces need in in other places
